Biography

Renee M. Shprecher is an Associate in the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group in Scottsdale. Ms. Shprecher's real estate practice focuses on development and commercial real estate transactions, including, leasing, acquisitions and sales, and financing. She represents local and national developers and investors in all phases of real estate development, including the preparation and negotiation of leases, purchase agreements, development agreements, financing and loan documents, SNDAs and estoppel certificates, CC&Rs, easement and reciprocal access agreements, and the review of all phases of due diligence and title materials.

Ms. Shprecher’s practice also includes assisting developers with the various business and corporate issues, including structuring and forming corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies, preparing and documenting joint venture agreements and advising board of directors on general business law issues.

Recent transactions:

• Representation of regional landlord in the negotiation and preparation of retail leases for over 100 shopping centers constituting approximately 3 million square feet of space in Arizona, California and New Mexico;

• Representation of local and national developers in connection with the due diligence, acquisition, financing and leasing of office, retail and mixed-use developments;

• Representation of regional and national developers in the preparation and negotiation of development agreements, economic incentive agreements and infrastructure coordination agreements throughout Maricopa and Pinal Counties; and

• Representation of national franchisor in the leasing of retail projects in Arizona and California.

Ms. Shprecher is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). She is also a member of the Junior League of Phoenix.

Ms. Shprecher earned her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and her bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Arizona.
