Steven Stathatos is Of Counsel to Buchalter Nemer in Los Angeles, with a practice focusing on commercial transactions, real property finance and entitlement, and a wide range of corporate, partnership and general business matters.
For the past 20 years he has acted as General Counsel to the Stats Group, headquartered in Pasadena, California, a consortium of retail and real property interests. He has served on several boards of directors of nonprofit organizations, is current Chairperson of the Old Pasadena Management District, former Chairperson of the Old Pasadena Parking Meter Zone Advisory Commission and current member of the Pacific Council on International Policy.
Mr. Stathatos earned his A.B. degree summa cum laude in 1974 from Stanford University where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He earned his M.A. at Stanford University and his J.D. at Stanford Law School in 1978.
