
Rebekah Shulman is Special Counsel in the Firm’s Nashville office and a member of the Intellectual Property practice group. Ms. Shulman concentrates her practice on patents, trademarks, servicemarks, copyrights, trade secret protection, licensing and related litigation. Her practice also includes general business litigation and the resolution of complex business disputes.
Ms. Shulman advises and counsels on intellectual property strategy and enforcement, providing clearance and infringement opinions, advising clients on brand identity and awareness, and navigating registration and prosecution proceedings before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. She assists clients in meeting business objectives, identifying risks, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and policies.
In addition, her practice extends to drafting and negotiating various IP-dependent agreements, assignments, and other transactional documents. This includes license agreements, nondisclosure and confidentiality agreements, development agreements, and data privacy and security agreements, among others, servicing a variety of industries and technologies.
Ms. Shulman is a licensed patent attorney registered with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. She has been practicing law since 2008.
