“The key is going to be the strength of your borrower, your guarantor, their financial acumen, and their ability to execute on these kinds of projects. The rates are going to be high, so if you’re getting a single-digit rate, then you’re probably happy. Stabilized loan rates are 6% to 8%, and there’s usually a decent spread on construction loan rates,” said Brooks.
