On May 7, 2018, Heritage Commerce Corp announced it completed its merger with United American Bank. Heritage Bank of Commerce is a California state-chartered bank headquartered in San Jose, California conducting business since 1994. United American was a full-service financial institution with branches in three locations – San Mateo, Redwood City, and Half Moon Bay, California.
