Shareholder Jon Olafson will present at the Center for Legal Inclusiveness on the topic “How Understanding Legal Ethical Considerations and Identity Fosters Belonging.” This virtual event will occur on February 2, 2023, from 11:30 am – 1:10 pm.
In this session, participants will learn about Ethics that are in compliance with C.R.C.P. 250.5(3). Equity, Diversity, and Inclusivity (EDI) components will include the definition of Identity, Diversity, and Inclusion; distinctions between EEO, Affirmative Action, and D&I; Organizational Inclusion and its benefits; Coded Language & Code Switching; Inclusive Language; Micro Affirmations and Micro Changes, and fostering Belonging and Inclusive practices for law firms and lawyers working in any environment.
