During this webinar, California litigators Anne Marie Ellis and Paul Alarcon will highlight nationwide “Return to Play” laws that are aimed at preventing and identifying concussions in youth sports. They will provide an update on recent bills and laws, highlight the states with the most restrictive and onerous laws, and provide an analysis of best practices and risk management strategies for complying with these laws.
Exponent scientists Joseph Sala, Ph.D. and Michael Prange Ph.D., P.E. will round out the discussion from an expert’s viewpoint. Dr. Sala will focus on human factors issues relating to youth concussions. Dr. Prange will address human injury biomechanics and kinematics of concussive events.
