Chris Lindemeier is an Attorney in the Firm’s Seattle office and a member of the Litigation practice group. Mr. Lindemeier is experienced in a wide array of civil litigation, from commercial disputes to intellectual property actions. He has a passion for advising innovative companies, and for developing an in-depth understanding of his clients’ concerns to provide them the most practical solutions. Mr. Lindemeier believes that anticipating an opponent’s next move and adapting litigation strategy as a case evolves are essential to obtaining successful results.

  • Pike Place Market Preservation and Development Authority v. Pike Place Fish Market, Inc. Prosecuted federal trademark infringement claims involving name of famous public market; brought motion for preliminary injunction, resulting in settlement.
  • Dental Health Services, Inc. v. Miller. Defended trade secret misappropriation and breach of contract claims against former insurance executive; defeated motion for temporary restraining order and obtained dismissal with prejudice of all claims.
  • Saber Interactive Inc. v. Oovee, Ltd. Defended federal trade dress infringement and unfair competition claims against indie video game studio related to top-selling video game; obtained dismissal of claims against client on motion to dismiss.
  • Tristate Roofing Inc. v. Achten’s Quality Roofing & Construction Inc. Defended federal trademark infringement, trademark dilution, and unfair competition claims against regional construction company; defeated motion for preliminary injunction, despite adverse presumptions provided by plaintiff’s incontestable trademark registration.
  • In Re Estate of Arla Mae Rohatsch. Prosecuted claims for breach of fiduciary duty against estate’s personal representative; prevailed on all claims at trial, obtaining judgment for all requested damages and an award of attorneys’ fees.
  • B.C. IP, LLC v. Tealicious, Inc. Prosecuted abandonment claims in trademark registration cancellation proceeding before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board; obtained broad freedom to operate for client under settlement and concurrent use agreement.
  • Confidential Settlement in TTAB Proceeding. Prosecuted likelihood-of-confusion claims in a trademark registration cancellation proceeding before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board; obtained assignment of the registrant’s entire interest in the disputed mark to the client through settlement.
  • City of Sumner Building Code Issues. Defended owner of multi-building apartment complex in building code dispute against the City of Sumner involving constitutional issues of government exactions; obtained settlement and dismissal of all alleged violations.

Mr. Lindemeier earned his J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law and was Chief Managing Editor of the Washington Journal of Law, Technology & Arts. He also earned his B.A. from the University of Washington.
