The Intake & Conflicts Specialist is responsible for supporting the Firm’s New Hire Conflicts team by reviewing candidate conflicts questionnaires, conducting conflicts searches, analyzing and filtering search results, and researching complex conflicts issues. The Specialist should possess a strong understanding of legal and corporate entity structures, demonstrate sound judgment in evaluating potential conflicts concerns, and exercise discretion when handling confidential and sensitive information. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys, recruiters, and team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Review candidate conflicts questionnaires and related materials to ensure completeness and compliance with Firm policies and ethical obligations.
- Conduct new hire conflicts searches using Firm databases and established search protocols.
- Employ Boolean logic in accordance with Firm policy to perform conflicts searches.
- Research and analyze parties, corporate affiliations, and related entities using internal and external research resources.
- Leverage internal and external information sources to analyze and filter conflicts search results.
- Identify potential conflicts issues and escalate as appropriate.
- Communicate with candidates, recruiters, attorneys, and administrative personnel regarding new hire conflicts inquiries and follow-up requests.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to candidate conflicts analysis.
- Assist with training, process improvement initiatives, and other conflicts and onboarding-related projects, as assigned.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

- Strong analytical and communication skills both oral and written. Excellent organizational and planning skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects to meet deadlines.
- Strong research skills demonstrated by ability to use legal and financial research systems.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with team members.
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to respond professionally to time-sensitive requests.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Flexibility to work additional hours as needed.
Education & Experience
- Familiarity with Intapp Open and minimum of 2-3 years’ experience processing conflict checks and intake requests via Intapp Open required.
- Experience using Intapp Walls as an admin user preferred.
- Database research experience and/or experience with corporate research resources such as Hoovers/Dunn & Bradstreet and or Bureau van Dijk, Capital IQ required.
- Experience with conflicts database management and experience with 3E and iManage desired.

Pay Scale: The reasonably expected pay range for this non-exempt (hourly) position is $60,000-$80,000. This is an employer estimate and the salary offered within that range, and the potential for bonus and bonus amount, will depend on experience.
