Aly Halpern is a Senior Counsel in the Firm’s Fort Worth office and a member of the Litigation practice group.

Ms. Halpern focuses her practice on construction, real estate and business transactions. A Fort Worth native, Ms. Halpern assists clients with a wide range of contractual matters, providing thoughtful and practical counsel to help ensure projects move forward smoothly and successfully. Having begun her career handling both litigation and transactional work, Ms. Halpern brings a valuable dual perspective to her practice. Her background in dispute resolution allows her to anticipate potential risks and structure agreements in ways that minimize exposure and prevent future conflicts. When challenges do arise, Ms. Halpern stands ready to respond swiftly and effectively to protect her clients’ interests.

Ms. Halpern is dedicated to building trusted, long-term relationships with her clients. She believes effective representation goes beyond legal analysis—it requires understanding each client’s goals, priorities, and business realities. Ms. Halpern previously served as an Adjunct Professor of Business Law at Texas Christian University’s Neeley School of Business.

  • Drafted and revised commercial construction contracts on behalf of clients

  • Drafted employment and independent contractor agreements across multiple industries
  • Analyzed employment agreements and non-competition agreements for enforceability issues and litigation strategy
  • Provided clients with guidance on business matters, including matters of business formation and employment issues
