Brett Ryan is a Special Counsel in the Firm’s Dallas office and a member of the Litigation practice group.
Mr. Ryan represents financial institutions, mortgage servicers, and creditors across a broad range of default servicing, regulatory compliance, transactional, and bankruptcy matters. As former in-house counsel to a multibillion-dollar nationwide credit union, he brings firsthand understanding of banking operations and the regulatory landscape governing financial institutions.
Brett has also served as outside general counsel to a diversified holding company with interests spanning casinos, hotels, travel centers, restaurants, and real estate brokerage. In that role, he managed complex commercial transactions, including an $83 million purchase and sale agreement.
