Caleb Johnston is an Attorney in the Firm’s Dallas office and a member of the Litigation practice.

His practice focuses on representing business owners in a broad range of corporate, transactional, employment, and general business matters. Caleb advises clients at key stages of their growth and operations, including entity formation and restructuring, corporate governance, ownership arrangements, mergers and acquisitions, and the negotiation of complex commercial agreements. He also supports clients opening, relocating, or expanding their operations through the negotiation of commercial leases and related construction build-out agreements.

His employment practice includes advising employers and executives on employment agreements and restrictive covenants, as well as representing employers in resolving charges filed with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and Texas Workforce Commission.

Across his practice, Caleb takes a practical, business-minded approach focused on understanding his clients’ objectives, managing risk, and supporting their continued growth.

  • Negotiated and drafted commercial leasing documents, including industrial/warehouse, office, and restaurant leases
  • Assisted multi-family and single-family developers with drafting leasing documents and reviewing for TREC regulatory and state law compliance
  • Drafted employment policies, handbooks, and agreements for numerous large and mid-sized companies
  • Analyzed employment agreements and non-competition agreements for enforceability issues and litigation strategy
  • Successfully defended against employment claims filed with EEOC and TWC on behalf of employers
  • Drafted corporate resolutions and company formation documents
  • Represented construction companies with several master service contracts for work on oil and gas pipeline and plant projects
