Elizabeth Elington Kemp is an attorney in the Firm’s Dallas office and a member of the Litigation practice group.

Mrs. Kemp focuses her practice on construction, real estate development and business transactions. She represents developers, contractors, investors, and closely held businesses in matters involving commercial contracting, entity and joint venture structuring, project development, governance, regulatory compliance, and business disputes.

Mrs. Kemp advises clients on both transactions and issues arising during the course of a project. From negotiating and structuring agreements at the outset to addressing disputes during execution, her approach combines careful attention to contractual risk with an understanding of the commercial considerations driving the deal, allowing her to provide practical counsel when legal and business interests intersect.

Before entering private practice, Elizabeth served in a senior advisory role at the federal level, where she handled matters involving statutory interpretation, regulatory enforcement, and formal legal opinions. Her regulatory background informs her work with clients navigating complex legal frameworks and matters involving governmental entities and regulatory requirements.
