Kathleen Martini is an Attorney in the Firm’s Nashville office. Her practice focuses on complex business transactions, with particular experience advising clients in the music, entertainment, and broader corporate sectors. Drawing on an extensive background in corporate, finance, and securities matters, Ms. Martini counsels businesses, investors, entrepreneurs, and entertainment industry participants on transactions that require both commercial sophistication and industry-specific insight.
Ms. Martini advises clients on a wide range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings, venture capital and private investment transactions, securities regulation, corporate governance, commercial contracting, and general corporate counseling. Her entertainment practice encompasses music industry transactions, catalog acquisitions and sales, intellectual property-related deals, and the day-to-day legal and business needs of artists, songwriters, executives, rights holders, and entertainment companies. She has represented clients in transactions involving significant music assets, including a nine-figure catalog sale.
Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Martini maintained a broad corporate practice spanning capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital transactions, securities compliance, debt finance, fund-related matters, and outside general counsel services. She also served as in-house corporate counsel for a public semiconductor manufacturer, where she managed significant supplier and customer contracting relationships, including supplier agreements exceeding $600 million, and advised on post-merger integration initiatives and antitrust regulatory matters.
