Lauren Ferrie is an Attorney in the Firm’s Dallas office and a member of the Litigation practice group.

Ms. Ferrie’s practice focuses on representing clients in construction and business disputes. She is committed to a client-centered approach, prioritizing clear communication and collaboration to develop practical, results-driven strategies at every stage of the dispute resolution process.

Ms. Ferrie began her practice in insurance coverage, where she developed foundational litigation skills and gained experience analyzing complex insurance claims and coverage issues. Ms. Ferrie’s background gives her an analytical approach to litigation, allowing her to identify and develop viable claims, anticipate potential defenses, and strategically pursue maximum recovery for her clients. She applies this analytical and results-oriented approach across a broad range of litigation matter.

Construction Disputes

  • Assisted with the representation of an owner in complex construction arbitration against a general contractor, involving claims of property damage, delays, and defective work, and defending against allegations of escalation costs on a fifty story high rise apartment complex in Austin, Texas.
  • Assisted with the representation of a general contractor in complex construction arbitration against an architect, involving claims of delays and professional liability on a dental office in Lumberton, Texas
  • Assisted with the representation of an general contractor in complex construction arbitration against a owner, involving claims of escalation costs, and defending against allegations of property damage, delays, and defective work on multiple apartment complexes across Texas.
  • Assisted with the representation of a general contractor against a subcontractor on various projects in North Texas and Pennsylvania, involving complex multi-party construction defects and payment issues.

Complex Commercial Disputes

  • Assisted with the representation of a staffing agency in federal court in complex commercial litigation arising from contractual disputes, including prosecuting claims for breach of contract and defending against claims of breach of contract, fraud, and negligent misrepresentation.
