Roger Grad is a Partner in the Firm’s Nashville office and a member of the Tax, Benefits and Estate Planning practice group.
Mr. Grad’s practice is concentrated on complex tax and estate planning for high-net-worth individuals, families and business clients. In his work with clients, Roger skillfully guides ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families through complex wealth transfer strategies, tax minimization techniques, business succession plans, marital agreements, estate and trust administrations, and the formation of charitable gift structures.
His practice also includes business and finance law, particularly in the formation of limited partnerships, limited liability companies, general partnerships, and corporate dissolutions. Mr. Grad counsels’ individuals and business clients in tax and estate planning issues involving complex claims in state, federal civil trial, and appellate courts, as well as tax, probate, and bankruptcy courts, and alternative dispute resolution forums. He has extensive knowledge regarding private placement and customized life insurance contracts and, in particular, the use of customized and private placement life insurance for retirement and income tax planning. Additionally, he practices entertainment law, from time to time, representing clients in regard to entertainment-related agreements and transactions.
