Andrew Kent is an Associate in Buchalter’s San Diego office and a member of the Firm’s Tax, Benefits and Estate Planning and Trust and Estate Litigation practice groups.

Mr. Kent advises individuals and families on a broad range of estate planning matters, from foundational plans to sophisticated planning for high-net-worth clients. He works with clients to develop estate plans that reflect their family circumstances, tax considerations, business interests, wealth-transfer objectives, and long-term succession goals.

Mr. Kent also assists trustees, executors, administrators, and beneficiaries with trust and probate administrations. His experience includes both routine, complex, and contested estate and trust administrations. This includes guiding clients through court-supervised probate proceedings.

In contested matters, Mr. Kent represents clients in trust and probate disputes involving the interpretation and enforcement of estate-planning documents, trustee conduct, fiduciary responsibilities, and alleged breaches of fiduciary duty.
