Parisa F. Weiss is a Partner and member of the Trust & Estate Litigation Practice Group, and Tax, Benefits, & Estate Planning Group in the Firm. Ms. Weiss is a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust & Probate Law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization, a distinction held by only a small percentage of California attorneys.
With more than two decades of experience, Ms. Weiss represents clients throughout California in a broad range of trust and estate matters. While she maintains a transactional practice focused on estate planning and trust administration, much of her practice is devoted to trust, estate, and conservatorship litigation. She advises fiduciaries, beneficiaries, heirs, and other interested parties in contested probate matters, providing strategic counsel at every stage of a dispute, from pre-litigation advice and conflict resolution through trial in California probate courts.
Known for her practical and strategic approach, Ms. Weiss frequently helps clients navigate complex fiduciary disputes, trust contests, financial elder abuse claims, accounting disputes, conservatorship matters, and other contested probate proceedings.
Ms. Weiss advises individuals with diverse financial, tax, asset protection, and benefit retention objectives and prepares sophisticated estate planning documents, including revocable trusts, special needs trusts, irrevocable trusts, wills, powers of attorney, and advance health care directives.
Ms. Weiss was named a “2019 Woman of Influence” by the San Diego Metro Magazine. In 2018, she was recognized as one of the San Diego Business Journal’s “Top Business Leaders Under 40” and was named to its “Best of the Bar” list in 2015 and 2016. Ms. Weiss was also honored by the San Diego Daily Transcript as a “2014 Top Attorney.
