Buchalter CEO Adam Bass to Serve Term on University of San Diego School of Law Board

Buchalter is pleased to announce that President and Chief Executive Officer Adam Bass has been invited to serve an additional three-year term on the University of San Diego (USD) School of Law Board of Visitors.

Bass, a longtime member of the Board, is an alumnus of the University of San Diego, where he earned both his Bachelor of Arts and Juris Doctor degrees.

The USD School of Law Board of Visitors is composed of distinguished leaders who provide counsel and support to the law school’s dean on key initiatives and the advancement of its academic programs.

“I am honored to continue my service on the USD School of Law Board of Visitors,” said Bass. “I remain deeply committed to supporting the University of San Diego as the institution that helped shape my career. I look forward to continuing to work with the law school’s leadership to strengthen its impact and help prepare the next generation of legal professionals.”

Bass has served on the Board for many years, reflecting his longstanding commitment to legal education and the development of future legal professionals. His continued service underscores his dedication to investing in the future of the legal profession, helping to shape the legal landscape, and guiding those entering the field for generations to come.

Bass’s connection to USD School of Law extends beyond his service on the Board. As Buchalter has expanded its presence in San Diego, the firm has frequently recruited attorneys and summer associates from the law school, reinforcing its commitment to developing local legal talent and supporting the next generation of practitioners in the region.

Under Bass’s leadership, Buchalter has also become one of the fastest-growing law firms in San Diego. Since opening its downtown San Diego office in 2018 with just two attorneys, the office has grown organically to approximately 60 lawyers, helping drive the firm’s continued growth and strengthening its position as a leading legal employer in the region. Bass’s continued service on the Board reflects both his commitment to legal education and his dedication to fostering opportunities for emerging legal professionals.

“The legal profession is strongest when experienced practitioners invest in those coming up behind them,” Bass added. “I look forward to continuing to support initiatives that help students and young lawyers build meaningful and successful careers.”
