Jeffrey S. Wruble specializes in the representation of financial institutions and mid-sized businesses with an emphasis on commercial litigation.  He also handles real estate matters, having represented both landlords and tenants in commercial lease disputes and workouts.  Additionally, he has handled matters in a wide variety of subject areas including loan work-outs, collections, commercial disputes, as well as prejudgment remedies, including receiverships.  Other areas in which Mr. Wruble has practiced include real estate foreclosures, construction disputes, wrongful termination, corporate and partnership dissolutions, commercial aircraft leases, and insolvencies.

Mr. Wruble was primarily responsible for the liquidation of a California agency of a foreign bank – the only such liquidation by the state in over a decade. Along with his litigation practice, Mr. Wruble is often involved in commercial and real estate transactions, construction issues and internet & E-commerce matters.

Mr. Wruble was a Judge Pro Tem for the Los Angeles County Municipal and Superior Courts for more than twenty years. He is a member of the Financial Lawyers Conference, AV Preeminent rated by Martindale Hubbell and recognized as a 2013 Top Rated Lawyer in the areas of Bank & Finance and Commercial Litigation by American Lawyer Media in conjunction with Martindale Hubbell.

Mr. Wruble earned a B.A. in English in 1977 from the University of California, Berkeley. He attended the University of San Diego School of Law, receiving his J.D. cum laude in 1980. While in law school, he was a research assistant to Professor Charles Wiggins and a member of the University of San Diego Law Review.
