Omar Newhide is a member of Buchalter’s litigation practice group. Omar’s practice is wide-ranging and includes, but is not limited to, litigating claims relative to real property, private money lending and leasing. Omar recently second chaired a trial in which he assisted with obtaining a bench trial verdict in favor of a Defendant landlord. In that case, the Orange County Superior Court adjudicated that the Plaintiff tenant had failed to duly exercise an option to renew a lease for an automobile repair shop and was thus a holdover tenant.

Mr. Newhide holds a J.D. from the University of California Irvine School of Law. Additionally, he holds a B.S. in Biological Science from the University of California, Irvine, graduating cum laude.
