Stephen Wright’s practice combines commercial real estate transactions and real estate focused corporate law.

Mr. Wright’s national commercial real estate practice includes: REIT portfolio acquisitions and dispositions; condominium development projects and navigation of state specific condominium statutes; drafting LOIs and PSAs (including forms) for funds, syndicates, developers and institutional clients and handling diligence and closing tasks; guidance of developers through materialmen’s lien and surety bond issues, including successful resolution of surety bond claims resulting out of subcontractor noncompliance; drafting and negotiating construction agreements; and negotiating leases and related lease documents.

Complementary to his real estate practice, Mr. Wright’s corporate law expertise includes advising clients on formation of their real estate syndication vehicles, funds and TICs as well as SEC compliance. Understanding the necessity for rapid deployment of resources, Mr. Wright takes a holistic approach to ensure that clients have the resources they need to pursue new opportunities with speed.

Mr. Wright also has experience serving as borrower’s counsel in tax-exempt bond issuances and lobbying on behalf of large energy clients in the forum of the California Public Utility Commission (CPUC).

Mr. Wright earned his J.D. from Gonzaga University School of Law. He earned his B.A. in Business Administration and Management, General from Northern Arizona University.
