Zack Thompson is a Special Counsel in the Firm’s Sacramento office and a member of the Litigation practice group. Zack has represented a broad spectrum of businesses, from small retail and hospitality businesses to large financial institutions and agricultural operations. He helps clients resolve a wide variety of disputes, including breaches of contract, fraud claims, shareholder and partnership disputes, real estate issues, and discrimination and wage and hour claims. Zack handles disputes at all stages—initial negotiations, mediations, filing and attacking initial pleadings in court, complex discovery, motion practice, and trial. Zack has also handled appeals in both California and federal courts and has submitted amicus curiae briefs to ensure that courts deciding important legal issues hear the views of his clients, even when the clients are not parties to the litigation.

Prior to joining Buchalter, Zack served as an appellate attorney at the Third District Court of Appeal in Sacramento.
