Buchalter has named Partner Daniel Larsen as the Office Chair of the firm’s Litigation Practice in Portland strengthening the leadership of one of the firm’s largest and core practices.
Buchalter’s Litigation Practice represents clients in complex commercial disputes, trials, arbitrations and appeals across a broad range of industries. The group includes litigators across the firm’s offices and oversees matters ranging from high-stakes business disputes and intellectual property litigation to real estate, financial services, employment and health care litigation.

Larsen is an experienced commercial litigator and adviser whose practice spans complex business, intellectual property, and health care disputes. He represents clients in state and federal courts in Oregon and Washington and advises businesses on matters involving contractual and statutory obligations, corporate governance and shareholder rights, trade secrets, trademarks and copyrights and commercial health care relationships.
Known for a pragmatic and business-focused approach, Larsen works closely with clients to develop practical strategies that address both their legal objectives and the broader commercial considerations at stake.

After earning his law degree cum laude, Larsen served as a law clerk to the Honorable Robert E. Jones of the United States District Court for the District of Oregon.
