Buchalter successfully represented Strategic Global Management, Inc., a KPC company, in buying 7 hospitals for $7 in a free and clear bankruptcy sale in Delaware bankruptcy court. The 7 hospitals and two related skilled nursing facilities are located in Arizona, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas and Utah. The Chapter 11 debtors, In re Promise Healthcare Group, LLC, et al., had more than $565 million in combined debt. The Buchalter team was led by Shareholders Mary H. Rose, Paul S. Arrow and Ryan D. Staley, and Senior Counsel Philip Nulud.
