Apple Sues Former Vision Pro Engineer for Alleged Theft of AR trade Secrets

"According to San Francisco-based IP litigator Dylan W. Wiseman, a shareholder and co-chair of Buchalter's Trade Secret and Employee Mobility Practice Group, Apple's trade secret lawsuits help preserve its competitive advantage, with the litigation strategy serving two major purposes.
"First, it sends a strong message to its employees that Apple will commence litigation to protect its trade secrets. Apple expects employees to abide by their confidentiality and intellectual property assignment agreements. Second, Apple's strategy signals to competitors to proceed with caution when hiring employees from Apple," he told IAM. "The litigation sends the message to Apple's competitors that they need to make certain their new hires have not absconded with Apple's electronic records and are not disclosing Apple's claimed trade secrets."'
