Shareholder Oren Bitan will be speaking at the California Bankruptcy Forum’s 37th Annual Insolvency Conference, taking place on May 16, 2025, at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California.
Mr. Bitan will participate in a panel discussion titled, “Bar Orders in Receiverships vs. Bankruptcy After the Sackler Decision.” The panel will examine the current state of bar orders in receivership proceedings following the Supreme Court’s ruling in Harrington v. Purdue Pharma L.P. (commonly referred to as the Sackler decision). Panelists include experienced receivers and legal experts who have actively litigated these significant and timely issues.
