Buzzi L. Shindler is the Litigation Chair of the Scottsdale office. He has extensive experience and tried-and-true expertise handling a broad range of commercial, transactional and litigation matters, with an emphasis on real estate and business transactions, business formation, governance and operations, estate planning, outside general counsel, and commercial, real estate and construction litigation.

With respect to the transactional side of his practice, Mr. Shindler represents a wide variety of clients, including individuals, small and large businesses, banks and financial institutions in diverse business and commercial matters and has vast experience in limited liability company and corporate governance, commercial property acquisitions, retail leasing, asset sales and purchases, loan transactions, financial dispute resolution, and contract drafting and negotiation. Mr. Shindler also handles an array of conservatorship and estate planning matters, including drafting of revocable living trust agreements, wills, durable financial and healthcare powers of attorney, and living wills.

With regard to the litigation side of his practice, Mr. Shindler handles primarily commercial, real estate and construction disputes, including breach of contract actions, business torts, creditors’ rights and post-judgment enforcement, landlord/tenant matters, mechanics’ lien, and construction defect claims.

Mr. Shindler was recognized and selected by his peers for membership in Arizona’s Finest Lawyers, as well as the Best Lawyers in America, Commercial Litigation and Litigation Real Estate, for 2023 – 2025.

Mr. Shindler earned his J.D. at the University of Arizona College of Law in 1999. While in law school, he served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Bernardo P. Velasco of the Pima County Superior Court. Mr. Shindler earned his B.A., magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from the University of Arizona in 1996.
