Leonard (Len) Venger serves as General Counsel, the chair of the Cybersecurity Practice and Entertainment Industry Groups, and co-chair of the Ethics and Risk Management Committee.

As Senior Advisor, Mr. Venger regularly provides legal and practical advice to litigators regarding legal strategy, case evaluations, and overall handling of litigated matters.

A former managing partner at Buchalter, Mr. Venger was lead trial attorney and handled numerous complex business and commercial litigation matters. Prior to rejoining the Firm, Mr. Venger spent 13 years as Executive Vice President and Head of Global Litigation at Sony Pictures Entertainment Inc. During his time with Sony Pictures, Mr. Venger was responsible for litigation matters relating to the company and its operating divisions around the world. He also oversaw Sony Pictures’ outside counsel globally, and he and his team were responsible for defense of the class action litigation following Sony Pictures’ cyberattack.

Mr. Venger received his B.A. in economics from the University of California, Los Angeles. He earned his J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law.
