Amanda Hailey is an Associate General Counsel in the Firm’s Seattle office. Ms. Hailey brings many years of relevant legal experience and a diverse legal background to her role. She began her legal career as an employment attorney. Ms. Hailey has litigated employment disputes, advised clients on challenging questions related to employment discrimination, reasonable accommodations, leave of absence requests, and other difficult workplace conflicts. She also has real estate law experience. And in alignment with her interest in risk management, she developed a deep understanding of legal ethics and conflicts of interest during her prior experience as a conflicts attorney. She is skilled in drafting conflict waivers, revising complex terms in engagement letters, and reviewing and negotiating outside counsel guidelines.
Prior to obtaining a law degree, Ms. Hailey obtained a Master’s in Industrial-Organizational Psychology. Ms. Hailey’s educational and professional background, encompassing a range of unique experiences as a litigator, employment counsel, transactional attorney, and ethics professional, allows her to provide timely, relevant, and practical advice in her role as an Associate General Counsel.
