Kristina Maritczak is a Partner in the Firm’s Seattle office and a member of the Labor and Employment and White Collar practice groups. Her legal experience has provided her with the ability to focus on human resources/employment matters, enterprise risk management, regulatory compliance, M&A due diligence, litigation, privacy/cybersecurity and investigations involving whistleblower, fraud/malfeasance and/or employment issues.  

Drawing from experience in representing companies in numerous industries, as well as high-profile and high net-worth clients, Maritczak works with clients to create strategic crisis management solutions to resolve high-stakes, time-sensitive matters that create reputational risk. She works closely with clients to prevent and mitigate reputational risk.  Her practice often involves coordinating national and international teams of experts in disciplines such as surveillance & investigations, forensics, crisis communications/media management and political consulting. 

Additionally, as a result of her experience as a Chief Risk Officer, Ms. Maritczak has helped her clients identify major risk areas within their companies and prioritize the assessment, development & implementation of policies and procedures while positively impacting the company’s financial bottom line.  Through her General Counsel experience, Ms. Maritczak has been able to develop a unique approach in understanding a company’s operations and implementing compliant strategies while creating financial success for the client’s business to become more competitive in the marketplace.

Ms. Maritczak has served on a number of non-profit Boards of Directors, and she is currently working with local business leaders to create a teen financial literacy and entrepreneurship program to serve as a national model.
