Megan I. Braun is Senior Counsel in the Firm’s Los Angeles office and a member of the Litigation and Tax, Benefits and Estate Planning practice groups. Megan’s practice focuses on representing corporate fiduciaries and licensed private professional fiduciaries in trust and estate matters. Megan has represented trustees, executors, administrators, and conservators in both administration and litigation.
Immediately prior to joining the Firm, Megan worked in a fiduciary capacity at a national trust company settling estates of high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families. This first-hand experience gives Megan unique insights into the current challenges fiduciaries face in administering trusts and estates. Additionally, Megan’s litigation background allows her to identify and address potential issues during administration with the goal of avoiding the necessity of litigation. When litigation is unavoidable, Megan is a passionate advocate for her clients.
During law school, Megan served as a judicial extern in the Probate Division of the Los Angeles Superior Court to the Honorable Reva G. Goetz, the Honorable Daniel S. Murphy, and the Honorable Robert S. Wada. Megan also served as a volunteer in Bet Tzedek’s Self-Help Conservatorship Clinic.
