Olivia Durnell is an associate in the firm’s Los Angeles Corporate Practice Group, where she advises clients on a wide range of transactional and corporate governance matters. Her practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, investment management, and general corporate counseling.
As a part of her practice, Olivia regularly represents buyers, sellers, and investors across diverse industries in structuring, negotiating, and closing strategic transactions. She also serves as outside general counsel to emerging and established companies, providing practical solutions to day-to-day legal and business issues.
Olivia is a member of the firm’s Investment Management Practice Group, where she structures private funds, navigates ongoing regulatory compliance, and represents wealth management firms and investment advisors in significant transactions.
Additionally, Olivia is also a member of the firm’s Wine, Beer & Spirits Industry Group and has worked with distillers and other clients in the alcoholic beverage space on transactional and operational matters. Olivia maintains an active pro bono practice and leads the firm’s partnership with the Alliance for Children’s Rights, overseeing a program that facilitates adoptions for children in the Los Angeles foster care system. She is also an active member of the firm’s Women@Buchalter committee, where she contributes to initiatives supporting mentorship, professional development, and community engagement.
