Rammya Rajan is an Associate in the Firm’s Chicago office and a member of the Litigation practice group. She concentrates her practice in the area of Business and Commercial Litigation, collaborating with seasoned shareholders and attorneys on a broad spectrum of matters. Her work experience spans investigations, pleadings, discovery, pre-trial motions, trials, and when appropriate, settlements and appeals.

Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Rajan gained valuable litigation and courtroom experience as an Assistant State’s Attorney with the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office, where she managed a myriad of cases and deepened her trial advocacy skills. While attending the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law, she supported a civil society coalition in international litigation before the UN CERD, advised on international labor human rights violations, and clerked for the Cook County Public Defender’s Homicide Task Force, assisting in sophisticated criminal defense cases. These roles provided her with a strong foundation in trial preparation, case strategy, and advocacy, which she now leverages in her commercial litigation practice.

Ms. Rajan brings to her work a unique combination of public sector trial experience and private sector business skills, positioning her to counsel effectively for clients navigating complex disputes. She is committed to delivering exceptional service and pursuing cost-efficient, results-driven strategies to address her clients’ legal needs.
