Sarah Vega is a member of the the Health Systems & Hospitals Industry Group and the Health Care & Life Sciences Industry Group in the Firm’s Orange County office. Ms. Vega focuses on provider based representation, specializing in complex litigation matters with managed care companies and health insurers. Ms. Vega represents a variety of healthcare clients including hospitals, health systems, physician groups, ambulatory surgery centers, laboratories, residential treatment centers, and med spas.

Ms. Vega consistently represents individuals and healthcare providers in investigations by agencies like the Department of Justice (DOJ) and Office of Inspector General (OIG) related to allegations of fraud and violations of the False Claims Act, Anti-Kickback Statute, and the California Insurance Frauds Prevention Act. Ms. Vega also regularly advises clients on compliance related issues.

Ms. Vega has experience litigating in the Orange County and Los Angeles areas with experience in both state and federal courts handling cases from pre-litigation through trial. Ms. Vega’s trial motions have been upheld in the Ninth Circuit.

In law school, Ms. Vega served as a legal extern for the Federal Public Defender’s Office in the Eastern District of North Carolina, and as a law clerk in the Orange County District Attorney’s Office homicide unit. She was also a judicial intern for the Honorable Kimberly K. Menninger of the Orange County Superior Court.

Ms. Vega has been recognized by Super Lawyers Magazine as a Southern California “Rising Star” from 2022-2025. She was also recently recognized as a Top Young Lawyer by the Orange County Coalition for Diversity in the Law.
