Thomas P. Yardley Jr. is a Shareholder in the Firm’s Chicago office and a member of the Litigation, Insolvency & Financial Law and Labor & Employment practice groups. Mr. Yardley concentrates his practice in the areas of litigation, business transactions, creditors’ rights and bankruptcy, and employment and construction law. With over 30 years of experience, Mr. Yardley has handled diverse litigation matters for small business owners, high net worth individuals and corporations. He has successfully represented clients in both state and federal court including: commercial and contractual disputes, corporate litigation (employment, breach of fiduciary duty and contract disputes), minority shareholder oppression matters, other employment cases, construction matters, condominium and real estate disputes, bankruptcy and creditors’ rights matters, among others. Mr. Yardley has obtained successful verdicts as a first and second chair in both jury and non-jury cases at both the state and federal level.

Mr. Yardley also has an MBA which has been essential in helping him to understand business disputes from an entirely unique perspective and to identify various strategic issues that directly impact the direction of litigation matters.
