25 October, 2023. Buchalter is excited to announce the relocation of its Salt Lake City office to the prestigious World Trade Center at City Creek, 60 E. South Temple Street, Suite 1200, Salt Lake City, Utah 84111. The firm moved its 30+ attorneys and 10 support staff to the new 25,000 square foot space on October 16.
“Our move to the World Trade Center in the heart of Salt Lake City is an exciting development for Buchalter,” said Adam Bass, President and Chief Executive Officer. “This location offers the prestige, accessibility, and amenities that align perfectly with our firm’s growth strategy, and will further strengthen our presence in Salt Lake City.”
Buchalter’s Salt Lake City office opened in November of 2021, and has since become a valued part of Salt Lake City’s thriving commercial landscape. The firm represents a number of notable Utah companies, and has taken the lead on many prominent cases in the region. Most recently, the firm reached a settlement on behalf of their client Dirty Dough in their high-profile and contentious trade secrets suit with rival bakery Crumbl.
The firm’s Salt Lake City office has nearly tripled in size over the past two years, including the addition of high profile Corporate Attorney, David Rudd. Rudd has decades of experience helping clients successfully close sophisticated deals at home and abroad. Public and private companies routinely rely on his familiarity with U.S. and foreign markets to negotiate and finance a wide range of transactions. He has guided clients across numerous industries, including technology, food, biotech, manufacturing, healthcare, cosmetics, hospitality, and sports.
Buchalter also expanded its intellectual property group in Salt Lake City with the additions of Catherine Maness and Michael Tait. Additionally, the firm’s Salt Lake City office extended its litigation presence with the recent addition of Zaven Sargsian.
Overseeing the office’s growth and recent relocation is Jed Burton, Office Managing Shareholder in Salt Lake City.
“The World Trade Center offers an exceptional environment for our team to thrive and continue providing top-tier legal services,” explained Burton. “Buchalter’s investment of time and resources in selecting and building out our new space demonstrates the firm’s commitment to Salt Lake City and our future here.”
The World Trade Center at City Creek is a Class-A, twenty-two-story, multi-tenant office building with a prime South Temple address in the heart of Salt Lake City’s central business district. The newly acquired office space offers state-of-the-art amenities, including a recently remodeled main lobby and elevator system, a modern fitness center with showers, and expanded training conference areas, creating an ideal working environment for Buchalter’s team of legal professionals.
Buchalter’s relocation to the World Trade Center at City Creek is a significant step forward for the firm, and the new office space will provide an ideal platform for growth, collaboration, and continued excellence in serving clients in the Salt Lake City area.
Bass added, “This move allows us to bring the best of Buchalter to our clients in the region, and as the Firm celebrates 90 years we’re excited for the growth that lies ahead in 2024.”
