Josh Escovedo Quoted in the Sacramento Business Journal

Former landlord sues performance painter David Garibaldi, alleging unpaid rent for studio

"Still, Mr. Garibaldi continued to pay his rent throughout the pandemic, without any government assistance, and he never asked for deferred payments or lease termination," Escovedo wrote in an email. "During that time, Mr. Garibaldi used his remaining operating capital to keep up his payments and to fund his remaining business operations. While that worked for a while, in 2022, the impact of the pandemic caught up with Mr. Garibaldi and he could not continue to pay the rent."
