Buchalter Attorneys Prevail in a Land Use Ruling in Contra Costa County

Buchalter Attorneys, led by Alicia Guerra, Kevin Collins, and Braeden Mansouri, were successful in defeating a land use initiative that barred planned residential development in a broad hillside region of the City of Antioch on behalf of their client, a developer/property owner. The Contra Costa Superior Court decided in Buchalter's favor, finding that the Save Mt. Diablo local initiative violated SB 330. (The Housing Crisis Act). This is California's second lawsuit under the new statute, and the first in Northern California.
