Mark Cramer will discuss, “Civil Litigation and Discovery: A Cost-Benefit Analysis,” presented at a joint symposium organized by the International Law Section of the State Bar of California and the Tokyo Dai-Ichi Bar Association to discuss the propriety of potential changes to Japan’s Code of Civil Procedure to permit additional discovery procedures such as depositions and efforts to promote arbitration as an alternative dispute resolution tool in Tokyo, Japan.
