Assembly Bill (“AB”) 5 codifies, clarifies, and grants exemptions to the ABC test, outlined in the 2018 decision by the California Supreme Court known as Dynamex. Paul and Dawn will provide an overview of AB 5’s requirements that come into effect for the most part in short order on January 1, 2020, as well as considerations you should make before taking steps to reclassify any of your workers.
