Aaron Levine is a Shareholder in the firm’s Los Angeles office. Mr. Levine, whose practice is focused on complex commercial and intellectual property litigation, has experience handling all phases of litigation from inception through resolution. His clients include multinational corporations, energy companies, financial institutions, apparel companies, fashion designers, technology companies, and small business owners.

Mr. Levine was selected by Super Lawyers Magazine as a Rising Star from 2020-2024. In addition, he was also named to Best Lawyer’s “Ones to Watch” list in 2024 & 2025.

 

Mr. Levine’s representative matters include:

  • Served as the lead attorney in an arbitration involving competing breach of contract claims between a well-known apparel company and its domestic distributor, which resulted in a six-figure award on behalf of Mr. Levine’s client and a complete defense against the distributor’s cross-complaint.
  • Served as the Second chair attorney in a jury trial involving a dispute over ownership interests in a California corporation, which resulted in a multi-million dollar judgment, and an award of attorneys’ fees and costs, in favor of Mr. Levine’s client.
  • Served as the Second-Chair attorney in an arbitration, involving a dispute between an online retailer and the company hired to develop and manage its customer relationship management (CRM) software, which resulted in an award of more than one million dollars, plus attorneys’ fees, in favor of Mr. Levine’s client.
  • Defended apparel manufacturer in connection with copyright and trademark infringement.
  • Represented an investor in a Broadway musical in a profit-participation dispute with the show’s creator.
  • Represented an energy company in multi-party litigation involving a dispute over the right to enforce an easement.

Mr. Levine graduated from Loyola Law School where he was the Senior Article and Symposia Editor of the Loyola of Los Angeles Entertainment Law Review. He received his B.A. in Communication from the University of Southern California in 2006.

Prior to law school, Mr. Levine represented Fortune 500 technology companies, international film festivals, and an assortment of celebrities and other media personalities at an award-winning entertainment, lifestyle, and corporate-focused public relations firm. Mr. Levine also spent several years as a talent agent at a boutique entertainment agency. In this role, Mr. Levine was charged with routing nation-wide tours and helping nationally-recognized recording artists cultivate and develop previously under-utilized revenue streams
