Anita Barooni is a member of in Buchalter’s Litigation and Health Care Practice Groups in the Los Angeles Office. Ms. Barooni centers her practice on complex commercial litigation disputes, with a particular focus on health care clients. Ms. Barooni represents health systems, physician groups, and other healthcare clients in large exposure reimbursement disputes and litigation with managed care companies and health insurers.
Ms. Barooni also represents and advises healthcare providers in investigations by managed care plans and advises healthcare providers on compliance issues relating to telemedicine.
Ms. Barooni began her career with the litigation department of an AM100 law firm where she handled general liability matters. She is well-versed in the litigation process and has experience drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery, as well as taking depositions.
