Marie Dutton is an Attorney in the Firm’s Denver office and a member of the Intellectual Property practice group. Her practice focuses on intellectual property, corporate law, and the legal issues that arise for e-commerce and technology companies. Ms. Dutton has experience in trademark and copyright prosecution, enforcement, and litigation. She serves as outside general counsel to clients providing strategic legal advice on business issues, such as SAAS agreements, licensing, privacy policies, company governance, and mergers and acquisitions.
Before practicing law, Ms. Dutton earned her B.S. in mechanical engineering and applies a systemic, analytical approach to solving legal problems. She enjoys learning about new technology and diving deep into the client’s product and business goals to provide legal services that protect the client’s current and future intellectual property.
