25 March, 2025. Buchalter is pleased to announce the expansion and relocation of its Denver office. In a strategic move highlighting the firm's vision for continued growth, Buchalter has secured additional office space at 1099 18th Street, Suite 1900 leasing a full floor of approximately 21,223 square feet with more than 50 attorney offices.

Buchalter’s Denver office now includes approximately 25 attorneys and professionals, strengthening the firm’s capabilities in key industries, including corporate, real estate, estate planning, commercial litigation, and natural resources law. The firm remains committed to providing sophisticated and tailored legal services while continuing to invest in its presence in Denver.
Since opening in November 2022, the Denver office has grown significantly, adding a diverse group of attorneys across multiple practice areas. Last year, Rajesh “Raj” Kukreja and Kara Chrobak joined the firm’s Family Law practice. Their practice focuses on the representation of individuals with High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth marital estates in their dissolution of marriage and related matters. Such matters often involve the valuation of privately held companies, valuation of real estate interests, analysis of actual and potential property interests, separate property tracing, valuation of trusts, analysis of executive compensation, and litigation regarding the enforceability of marital agreements. Both represent clients throughout the Denver metro area, on the Front Range, and in the mountain communities of Vail, Breckenridge, Aspen, and Telluride.
Betty Arkell, Shareholder and member of the Corporate Practice group leverages extensive corporate finance and M&A transactional experience to guide companies through the entire corporate lifecycle, from formation through growth and planned exit. Her clients include established and emerging growth companies as well as venture capital and other private equity funds. Among her many accolades including, long-standing recognitions from Chambers, Best Lawyers, and Super Lawyers, Arkell was recently awarded the 2023 Bob Newman Lifetime Achievement Award from the Colorado Technology Association.
Steve Segal, Shareholder and also a member of the Corporate Practice group, focused his practice on a broad range of business and transactional matters that include mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and private equity financings, fund formation, and technology and other commercial transactions. He represents start-up, emerging growth, and mature operating companies in industries such as data security, technology, health care, food and beverage, consumer products and services, business-to-business services, media and entertainment, financial services, manufacturing, and distribution His clients also include venture capital funds, strategic investors and high net worth individuals. Further, Segal serves as outside general counsel to most of his clients and as strategic adviser to their executive officers and boards of directors.
As a member of the Litigation Practice group, Shareholder Scott Evans helps businesses and their principals resolve a wide range of commercial disputes, including contract disputes, statutory compliance, commercial matters, business torts, and real estate litigation. He represents local business owners, national chains, and investors in intra-business disputes, as well as certain administrative matters involving regulatory agencies. Further, he conducts internal corporate and governmental agency investigations calling on his previous experience as a federal investigator. Evans is also an experienced third party neutral as he is a panelist for the American Arbitration Association Commercial Law Section and an Associate of the College of Commercial Arbitrators.
