She also regularly provides broad HR counsel to employers assisting clients with compliance at the local, state, and federal levels. Her practice further includes advising clients on compensation practices, separation agreements, evolving employment laws, and regulatory compliance.

Mark Carter has represented a wide array of clients, including construction owners, developers, general contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers across the United States and internationally. He is especially experienced in negotiating design-build, EPC, and material supply contracts. Carter has also successfully tried numerous construction cases in state and federal courts and in arbitrations and mediations conducted nationwide.

Heather Wright focuses on helping commercial clients identify operational risks and manage them through insurance. She is experienced in maximizing recovery under commercial insurance policies, including property, general liability, professional liability, directors and officers, and cyber liability coverage. She also advises on insurance and indemnity provisions in financing, acquisition, real estate and construction agreements and provides regulatory and compliance guidance to lenders and mortgage servicers, particularly regarding the Flood Disaster Protection Act.

Connor Blair brings extensive trial and appellate experience to Buchalter, having successfully handled cases involving breach of contract, torts, non-compete clauses, intellectual property, and compliance with state and federal laws. He has tried cases to verdict in both state and federal court and briefed matters before the Supreme Court of the United States and multiple U.S. Courts of Appeals.

Sherry Haus is a seasoned litigator who has represented public companies, as well as officers and directors, in both civil and criminal matters. She is well-versed in handling government investigations, including parallel civil and criminal federal investigations, and has counseled clients in matters such as anti-money laundering requirements and internal investigations. Haus has worked with numerous Fortune 500 companies and financial institutions in investigations by the Department of Justice (DOJ), Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and other regulatory agencies.

Jonathon Talcott combines his education in physics and electrical engineering with years of professional experience as an engineer at a large aerospace and defense company. During his time there, he designed displays and controls for cockpit electronics, gaining firsthand knowledge of cutting-edge technology. His practice spans a diverse range of industries, including software, hardware, consumer electronics, Internet technology, financial institutions, cannabis, medical systems, sports equipment, and generative artificial intelligence (AI).
